Two new websites along with N. Joseph Burnette's academic portfolio is released to the general public. That makes a total of 4 websites under the dreamerz brand. Choose your destiny at www.dreamerzstudio.net. In addition to this news, N. Joseph Burnette has been recently chosen as "winner" of the 2009 Pixar's "Stupid Renderman Tricks" competition. As a result, he was given the rare opportunity to present his innovative work at Siggraph 2009 conference in New Orleans. There, he presented infront of Pixar, Weta Digital (Lord of the Rings, King Kong) associates from Square Enix (Final Fantasy Games) and many other leaders in the Visual Effects Industry. After all this time...more news. The Dreamerz are busy working behind the scenes to release the latest revolutionary artworks straight from the Caribbean. We have taken some time off from the business realm to carry our skills to world class production level. Of course, it is our desire that the Caribbean be adequately represented in the world of motion graphics and visual effects. We are working on making that happen. Also, concept design for the new Dreamerz site is well under way, for the insatiable thirst of the fans must be quenched! Here is the latest news: N. Joseph Burnette of Dreamerz Studio has been one of about 150 students elected by the Savannah college of Art and Design to be nominated the "Who's who amongst students in American Colleges and Universities" award for outstanding academic achievement. Aside from that, he has released his new academic site, called "Elemental". Here, he will be constantly posting a small collection of academic artwork and demo reels. It has been a long time since the last update, but time has not been wasted. A few things have however changed since our last news entry. The daily operation of Dreamerz Studio as a business entity in the island of Antigua will be at a halt until further notice from C.E.O N.B.Junior. N.B.Junior and fellow Dreamerz artist Jo-anna Graham will be representing Antigua at world-renowned international institution for the arts, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Fellow fans and partners of lunar odyssey and Dreamerz Studio can respond through the website to learn how this bold move will affect the company and its constant progression to higher heights. In the mean time, keep checking for updates to the portfolio and certain aspects of the site. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: [Date: June 21th, 2006] - Sankofa Workshop As promised, below are a collection of pictures from our last event, the Wired Designs' mini trade fair. Much thanks again to photographer Jo-anna Graham (we are posing next to her pieces in the first 2 pics) for covering the event for us. Next: The Sankofa Youth Workshop, held at the Botanical Gardens on the 3rd of July. Dreamerz Studio will be hosting a workshop from 1PM to 2PM geared towards exposing youths to the more artistic applications of IT in the business marketing and entertainment industry. Actually according to the log, that 'little while' lasted about 2 and a half months. Well, we were really busy working with some clients on some high profile projects, but we haven't forgotten the fans of our odessey, who visits the digital realm from time to time. Currently, we are commencing preparation for yet another Dreamerz expo, hosted by the "Wired Designs Mini Trade Fair 2006." This year, Dreamerz Studio is proud to be a major part in the Ali and Associates' massive marketing movement. Come to the trade show on June 10th, to get a taste of the beautiful artwork and photography of Dreamerz Studio, woven into a fine cinematic presentation. The entire event is from 12 noon to 12 midnight at the Botanical Gardens. Note: CEO Alister Thomas called us up the other day with an emergency. Wanted a website built from scratch for like... yesterday. Well, since the word was already out there that the Dreamerz specializes in the impossible, we completed the 5 page website in 24 hours exact. Check out the newly launched "Wired Designs" website. [Images Coming soon...] [Date: March 15th, 2006] - Evolve It's roughly over one month already, since the last update. Can time move any faster than this? Dreamerz Studio is pleased to announce it's new line of experimental artwork called "Evolve". It is essentially a collection of strictly photoshop and illustratior oriented artwork, where the software is taken to an extreme to simulate real life objects. All artwork created from scratch using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and mouse. Check out 2 new samples under the "Evolve" section in the portfolio page. Many many more to come soon! The event was covered by N.B.Junior, Ronnie Diggs, Tahirah Riley, and Photographer Jo-anna Graham. Most of our presentation was done by Tahirah Riley. The entire event was a success. The Career Affair hosted by the ABIB bank went pretty well. The multipurpose center was crowded with students and business people alike who were seeking inspiration, motivation and business solutions. The dreamerz N.B.Junior, Ronnie Diggs, Tahirah Riley, and Jo-anna Graham were on the scene runnin' the demo reel and some flash movies. We got some students studying nursing to rethink their career path and consider graphic designing, motivated an artist and poet who was awe-inspired by our cinematic power-point presentations, inspired an entire class to get into flash animation, and also gave an aspiring designer tips on how to get started. We actually have a few pics here to give you an insight of the 2-day event.
Also, N.B.Junior of Dreamerz Studio is expected to be at the Ottos Secondary school to talk about Graphic Designing and Rich Media marketing on the 9th February, 2006. Thanks to all supporters for their positive feedback and encouragement following the launch of this site. Dreamerz Studio is expected to be at the Career Affair hosted by ABIB bank at the Multipurpose center, St. John's, Antigua on the 1st and 2nd of February, 2006. We'll be displaying our portfolio presentation and demonstraiting how graphic designing has become such a vital asset in the world of new media marketing and communications.
